As an example, When asked to lead an activity with the children, having clear instructions communicated to me before I begin allows me to feel confident and equipped to run with it. Having the opportunity to express any concerns not only helps me to learn, but is an important part of a two way communication process. It is important to have good communication in place with parents so that a positive relationship is maintained and parents have confidence that their child is being well looked after. When working with young children there is lot of information that needs to be exchanged between the parent/carer and their key worker. Information is routinely exchanged about how the child is feeling, their current likes and dislikes, updates on their development and changes in routine. At my setting there are lots of ways that we communicate with parents. A weekly email is sent out to which contains important information such as key dates when events are happening, details on parents consultation evenings, ways that parents can support their children, and the focus areas of the week. Each child has a communication book and this is a valuable way to ensure that any pertinent information about the child is recorded. This could be the parents writing in the book to advise that they will be on holiday next week or the childs key worker writing a note about a key observation that happened with that child that day. Good communication between the Early Years Practitioner and a child is key to developing a positive relationship and ensuring that the child is happy and settled and making the most from their preschool experience. Showing an interest in the child helps to build their confidence, and understanding their likes and dislikes helps us to support them with their development and learning. The settling in period is a key time that can affect a childs experience of school. Being friendly and welcoming and engaging them in activities that they are interested in will have a positive impact on them adjusting to preschool In some circumstances, the practioner may need to work with outside agencies from professional backgrounds such as social work, health education. Effective communication with these agencies to work together to achieve targets that will benefit the child. This communication may be on a more formal basis, and is important that information shared is accurate, clear, concise and non-judgmental. We must remember that communication is a two-way process; it is not just about sending the right message, but ensuring that this message is being correctly received and understood by the other person. There can be barriers to effective communication so it is important that we are aware of our differences and other constraints such as time pressures. We need to be aware of individuals needs, wishes, values, culture and their belief system. Therefore a key skill in effective communication is being able to adapt to the needs of other people eg speaking slowly and clearly to someone where English is not their first language and avoiding long words and jargon in non professional situations. Whether we mean to or not, we give messages to other people by the way we say things so we need to be conscious of the tone of our voice, our facial expression and our body language. For example turning your back to someone can be rude so in order to build good relationships we need to be aware how we position ourselves. In conclusion, developing good communication skills is a key factor to be a good practioner in an early years setting. At work we come into contact with a broad spectrum of people from young children to professional agencies so we need to be able to adapt our communication style to suit the level of the individual we are engaging with.

Most of the lands owned by the settlers were used for the production of cotton. In the 1930s, agriculture in the area was affected by adverse farming conditions and high prices. The settler farms were being operated by tenants, since most of them were affected by economic depression. The Great Depression further led to the failure of several agricultural businesses. The settlers in Lamesa contributed greatly to the development of agricultural industry in Dawson County. Life And Work Of Abu Ali Ibn Sina Ibn Sina, Abu Ali (Latin Avicenna) (980-1037), a scholar of encyclopedic, physician and philosopher. He was born near Bukhara in Afshane 16 August 980. Many benefits of online discussion have been recorded in the literature. Online discussion allows students taking time to think about the messages they receive from their peers as well as what they postings. Therefore, online discussion is also defined as "a powerful tool for the development of critical thinking, collaboration, and reflection" (Williams et al., 2001, p. 151). Students tend to participate more as they are aware that their participation is being monitored and recorded (Tullar et al., 1998). Online discussion within small groups or learning sets also affords a growing sense of community and a feeling among students that they can get to know each other through this medium (Curtin, 2002, cited in Lewin & Jerram, 2003; Hammond, 2000). Macbeth had become so obsessed with becoming King, and remaining powerful, that he became a completely different man. An example of his new character occurred when he killed King Duncan. After the first murder, killing seemed to be the only solution to keep his reign over the people of Scotland. If it had not been for the witches telling Macbeth that he was going to be Thane of Cawdor, Thane of Glanis, and King of Scotland, he would still be is ordinary self. After the witches shared these prophecies with Macbeth he started thinking of ways he could become king. The other influential factor that destroyed Macbeth was his wife Lady Macbeth. In the play Lady Macbeth was going to kill King Duncan, but she just could not do it. Although she then provided a scheme which caused Macbeth to kill King Duncan. After the first murder, Macbeth seemed to come to the solution that killing was the way. Therefore Lady Macbeth was the one who introduced the concept of murder to Macbeth, which was another reason why Macbeth was destroyed.

As a youth, Hitler described himself as an argumentative little ring leader who liked to hang out with husky boys. He was an instigator who got other people to do the bullying for him. His interests in art and romanticized German nationalism were obvious from a very young age. He and his father had a bitter feud about his schooling. Hitler despised Capitalism, Socialism, and the Church. His father wanted him to be a civil servant loyal to the Austrian Hapsburg Monarchy; however, this only fueled his obsession of liberating Germany from the raw deal they got in WWI. Similarly, during Benito Mussolinis early years, he was prone to fighting. His father encouraged his belligerent behavior, and he was also disdainful of religious order. His socialist views were passed on to him by his father. He wrote for a socialist paper as a young man, and would speak to anyone regarding politics or religion; he was a staunch defender socialist ideas. He really didnt know much about socialism or economics, yet he drew crowds wherever he spoke. Shortly after a democratic revolution in Germany which ended the ruling monarchy, Hitler became involved in propaganda. Hitler was obsessed with a vision that Germans were destined to rule greater Europe. Weltering in Gore Weltering in Gore Weltering in Gore By Maeve Maddox The expression â€Å"weltering in gore† has been around at least since 1593 when Christopher Marlowe used it in Edward II: Upon my weapons point here shouldst thou fall, And welter in thy goare I just noticed it in an Amelia Peabody mystery by Elizabeth Peters. In The Curse of the Pharaohs (1981), Amelia is reluctant for her husband to stand guard over a tomb. He asks if she’s afraid she’ll find him in the morning â€Å"weltering in his own gore.† The novel’s setting is the nineteenth century, so the use of the phrase is right on target. And gore can mean a â€Å"triangular piece of cloth† used in sewing to make a â€Å"gored skirt† or to enlarge an article of clothing. As a verb gore means â€Å"to pierce or stab.† It is usually used to describe the action of a horned animal. Ex. The toreador was gored by the bull. Both the verb and the noun with triangular connotations derive from an OE word for spear: gar. The point of the Anglo-Saxon gar was triangular in shape. The origin of the noun in the sense of â€Å"clotted blood† is OE gor, â€Å"dirt, dung, shit.† The sense â€Å"clotted blood† had developed by the1560s. Like gore, welter has more than one meaning, both as noun and verb. As a verb, welter means â€Å"to roll or twist the body.† It can also be used to describe the rolling, writhing motion of inanimate objects. Ex. The ship weltered in the waves. As a noun, welter can mean â€Å"a confused mass.† Ex. a welter of contradictions, a welter of fans, a welter of evidence, a welter of misunderstandings.
